Abyss is a deep-sea fishing and exploration game on Roblox developed by Deep Spirit Games. Players spawn inside a dome at the bottom of the ocean, equipped with a harpoon gun, and explore underwater biomes to catch fish, collect artifacts, complete quests, and discover hidden secrets.
Search for 'Abyss' on Roblox or visit the game page directly. After joining, you'll complete a short tutorial that teaches you how to swim, use your harpoon gun, and interact with NPCs. Once the tutorial is done, you're free to explore the Abyss.
Open the game, click the gear (⚙️) button on the left side of the screen to open Settings, scroll to the bottom to find the Codes section, type your code, and press Redeem. You must complete the tutorial before codes can be redeemed.
The best guns depend on your playstyle and progression. Early on, the Starter Gun is sufficient. As you progress deeper, upgrading to higher-tier harpoon guns with better damage, range, and cooldown becomes essential. Check our Guns page for a full comparison of all weapons.
Artifacts are found inside geodes scattered throughout various biomes. Each artifact provides unique stat boosts and effects. Some artifacts are also rewarded from NPC quests. Visit our Artifacts page for a complete list with sources and effects.
Races give your character passive abilities that affect fishing and combat. You start with a random race. To reroll, you need Star Shards — which can be earned from codes, gameplay, or purchased. Each race has a different rarity and reroll chance.
Abyss currently has multiple biomes including Forgotten Deep (starting area), Ocean, Ancient Sands, Spirit Roots, Angler Cave, and Morveth's Cave. Each biome has unique fish, NPCs, and secrets to discover.
Mutations are rare modifiers that can appear on fish you catch. Each mutation has a multiplier that increases the fish's value. Some mutations are exclusive to certain biomes. Check our Mutations page for all mutation types and their multipliers.
