Richard, unlike those chasing high scores, focuses on the science behind the catches. He studies rare and unusual fish and uncovers the mysteries beneath the waters. With a monocle perched over one eye and a magnifying glass always in hand, he looks at fish very differently. He also tracks the fish you have caught over the years, explaining each and every one of them through a story. His trusty book keeps all the records.
