⭐ How to Get and Use Star Shards
Star Shards are a premium currency in Roblox Abyss used primarily for rerolling Races and speeding up Geode cracking. This guide covers every way to earn Star Shards and the best strategies for spending them.
How to Get Star Shards
1. Redeem Codes
The fastest way to get free Star Shards is by redeeming Abyss codes. Codes are released periodically by the developers and can grant significant amounts of Star Shards instantly. Check our codes page regularly for the latest working codes.
2. Complete Quests
NPC quest chains reward varying amounts of Star Shards upon completion. The Kraken, Mr. Black, Virelia, and other NPCs all have quests that grant Star Shards as rewards. Prioritize completing all available quests in each biome.
3. Unlock Achievements
Achievements are one of the best sources of Star Shards. Many achievements have multiple levels, allowing you to earn Star Shards repeatedly as you progress. Check the Achievements tab (the ribbon icon on the left side of the screen) regularly to claim your rewards.
4. Open Treasure Chests
Treasure chests scattered throughout each biome can contain Star Shards along with XP and money. While the amount per chest is small, they add up over time as you explore.
5. Fill Out the Bestiary
Catching new fish species fills out your Bestiary entries. Visit Richard in the Forgotten Dome to check your Bestiary progress and claim Star Shard rewards for discovering new fish. This is a great passive source of Star Shards while you fish normally.
6. Purchase with Robux
If you need Star Shards quickly, you can purchase them with Robux through the in-game shop. Click the plus (+) button next to your Star Shards counter to see available packages. Larger packages offer better value per Shard.
